About the property …

Built over three floors, Elegance Lodge makes the most of the natural light, with a beautiful “mountain chic” decor and a resourceful use of its space.

Up to 12 people can share 5 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom which is perfect for children. The ground-floor double bedroom is a large suite with a dressing room and a private bathroom with double washbasin. The two other bathrooms are distributed across the floors.

The spacious living room is divided into 2 spaces, both with comfortable sofas: a TV lounge, and a sitting area arranged around a fireplace. Large full-height windows let light in, while glass partitions allow it to flood the whole floor.

A few steps divide this room from a modern kitchen, which has everything you’ll need, including a large oven, induction hobs and a coffee machine. There's room for everyone to enjoy a meal around the dining table, or you could enjoy a coffee or a snack at the breakfast bar.

Underfloor heating means there’s always a warm welcome waiting, and plenty of light wood, fur throws and natural fabrics make this a very easy place to relax.

In warmer weather, you can light the barbecue and gather outside around a second dining table. A second terrace, situated one level higher, offers a sofa where you can make the most of the alpine air. But the best feature is of course the outdoor hot tub, where you can relax at the end of your day’s activities in the mountains.

There’s also a second TV room with fitness equipment on the lower ground floor. The chalet has a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a garage for 1 car, and a sensational view of the Aravis mountain range.

About the area ...

Elegance Lodge overlooks the popular La Balme ski field in La Clusaz, and is just 2km from the ski lift. Parking is free, but if you don’t want to take the car, the ski bus stops 200m from the chalet, putting the whole of the Annecy ski resorts at your disposal - your Aravis ski pass will give you access to more than 220km of perfect pistes and 95 lifts.

Cross-country skiers and snowshoe walkers will find great terrain at the Lac des Confins and the nearby Beauregard plateau.There’s always somewhere new to discover, but if you fancy a change from the pistes, it’s just a short drive to La Clusaz village, where you’ll find an ice rink, heated indoor and outdoor pools and a spa centre, and a cinema. If you’re looking for a challenge, try sledging, dog-sledding and sleigh rides, all within a few miles of your cosy chalet.

Of course the chalet is the perfect base for participating in the fun that is the Défi Foly weekend to round of the ski season each year La Clusaz style!

When the owners of Elegance Lodge were looking for the perfect place to build their holiday home, they wanted somewhere that offered their family plenty to do all year round. La Clusaz was the perfect place, with as many activities in summer as in winter.

Go wild in the mountains or relax in the jacuzzi at your stylish chalet - the choice is yours. There are plenty of gentle walks from Elegance Lodge, or you can take the lift up into the mountains for some high-altitude hiking or biking.

There’s a tennis club, golf course, and driving range just up the road at Lac des Confins, where you can of course hike around the lake, and other activities within easy reach of La Clusaz include white-water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata and para-gliding.

The crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy are just 40 minutes drive away, making it a great place for a day out - you can swim and fish in the lake, windsurf or just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.
